We booked full insurance package, no doposit, got 10% discount for onlie payment.
Pick up at the airport meeting point was extremelly smoth and we got SEAT Arona FR black edition ( Renault Clio, Seat Ibiza...class) 9 months old, with 15.000 km, in mint condition.
Since we had to drop it off in early hours (04.00 AM = additional 29 € for closed hours) it went also very smooth. Just park the car with full tank where you picked it up and put the keys in envelope throu the 2 finger open window and that's it.

We recently visited Mallorca for a holiday and rented two cars from Vima. During our stay we lost one of the car keys, for which we accept 100% responsibility.
We were charged $900 to replace the lost key. $600 for the key itself and $300 for a mandatory ‘delivery charge’ – despite the fact we had a second car, all necessary paperwork/identification, and offered to collect the kay from any location of their choosing we were told this was not possible.
Below I’ve included the email I sent to Vima, twice, asking that they reconsider the delivery fee. I’ve received no reply.
I sincerely hope this review will result in Vima looking again at our specific case and their fees/policies for future customers. If not in hope it will serve as a warning to others.
Subject: Partial Refund Request – Rental Agreement xxxxx – Delivery Fee Dispute
Dear Customer Service Team,
I am writing regarding our recent vehicle hire under booking reference xxxxx. Overall, our group of seven was very pleased with the quality and condition of the two modern cars provided, both of which have been returned in excellent condition with no damage. We purchased extended insurance for the duration of the rental, as the cars were returned undamaged you incurred no costs under this policy.
During our stay, a car key was lost due to a miscommunication within our group. We take full responsibility for this error. Following our report of the loss, we were charged a total of €900, comprising €600 for the replacement key and €300 for delivery to our location.
I accept the €600 charge for the key itself, as I recognize that modern key replacements carry notable supply and administrative costs. However, I am formally requesting a refund of the €300 delivery fee for the following reasons:
* Refusal of Self-Collection: Because we had hired two vehicles, we explicitly offered to collect the replacement key directly from your premises. We had all necessary verification, including passports, driving licenses, and original rental documentation. This option was refused without reasonable grounds.
* Lack of Technical Justification: We assumed the €300 fee accounted for a specialist locksmith or on-site technical re-coding. Instead, an employee simply dropped the key off and departed immediately.
* Unjustified Charge: Enforcing a compulsory, high-cost delivery service on a customer who has the means and willingness to collect the item amounts to profiteering from a customer in an already distressing situation.
We chose your company over lower-cost competitors specifically because of your outstanding customer review ratings. It would be disappointing if our overall experience was marred by an inflated delivery charge.
If you agree to refund the €300 delivery charge as a gesture of goodwill, I will consider this matter fully resolved. Should you decline to return the fee, I will feel obligated to leave detailed reviews across all available platforms explaining the full details of our experience, including the fees charged, the refusal to allow self-collection, and the predatory nature of the compulsory delivery charge.
