No refund will be made for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the booking. Rentals with Basic or Standart insurance are not entitled to cancellation or modification.

Our customer service team will be happy to assist you and check the availability for extending the rental. The associated costs for this extension will be charged to the credit card number you provided at the time of vehicle delivery.
For rentals with “Basic”, “Standart” and “Premium” insurance it is essential to present a physical and valid credit card as guarantee when signing the rental contract, debit cards are not accepted as guarantee. In addition, a valid driving licence recognised by the Spanish traffic authorities must also be presented. Both documents must be presented in physical format, we do not accept photographs or copies. Vima reserves the right to terminate the contract unilaterally if these documents are not available. The client is not entitled to a refund of the rental amount paid.
Yes, you can obtain an invoice for your rental through the online reservation process, specifically in step 4, “My Information.” In this section, you only need to check the option “Do you need an invoice for a company?” located at the bottom of the page. Additionally, you have the option to request the invoice by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The invoice will be sent to the customer within 1 to 2 business days after the rental period has ended.

In case of picking up the car at Palma de Mallorca Airport, the cost of the parking ticket will be paid by the customer. From Vima Rent a Car we ensure that the amount will never exceed 15€.
This insurance covers damage caused to the vehicle in the event of an accident, except those resulting from reckless driving or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This insurance does not include expenses arising from filling the tank with the wrong fuel, damage to the clutch, loss or breakage of keys, fines, forced entry of the vehicle’s doors or locks or theft of personal belongings. In order for the insurance to cover the damage caused, it is essential to send a correctly completed accident report to email@example.com. If this document is not submitted, the insurance will not cover any damage caused to the vehicle. For accidents caused individually without involving any other vehicle, it is essential to send an email with images of the damage caused to firstname.lastname@example.org and a brief explanation of what happened. In case of not notifying the damage caused to the vehicle prior to the date of return of the vehicle, the “Premium” insurance will not include the costs of the repair.
The excess is the maximum amount that the customer will pay in the event of any damage to the vehicle. So, for an excess of 1,000, if the customer causes damage to the value of €100, the customer will pay €100. If the damage is €2,000, the customer will pay €1,000
The credit card does not necessarily have to be in the name of the driver of the vehicle, all we ask is that the cardholder is present at the time of payment.
You can pay in cash as long as you book the Premium rate. You can also pay through bank transfer, as well as with Visa and Mastercard, both credit and debit cards. For rentals with “Basic”, “Standart” and “Premium” insurance it is essential to present a credit card as a guarantee when signing the rental contract. We do not accept AMEX.
If you do not have a credit card, you can proceed with the vehicle rental choosing the “Premium” pack.
In this case, it will be necessary to purchase the extra “Rental without credit card” This insurance can be selected in the “Extras” section when making the reservation online.
If not selected in advance, the charge will be made at the airport or office at the time of vehicle delivery.
We do not place holds or blocks on your card.

DELIVERY & RETURN
After collecting your luggage you have to go to the car park building, take a lift to the 4th floor of the car park where we will be waiting for you at a counter on the right hand side of the hall with a VIMA RENT A CAR sign. VIDEO AIRPORT LOCATION
There will be no additional charge as long as you arrive within office hours 8.00-22.00. Our staff will monitor your flight, but please let us know if your flight is delayed by more than 30 minutes. For deliveries between 22:00 and 22:59 there will be an extra charge of 25€. For deliveries after 23:00 there will be an extra charge of 35€.
Yes, Vima Rent a Car offers a pick-up and drop-off service at Palma de Mallorca Airport, Cala Figuera, Cala Santanyi, Santanyí, Colonia de Sant Jordi, Cala d’Or, Cala Llombards and Porto Petro. In order to take advantage of this service, prior confirmation from VIMA is required.
Return times at the airport are from 08:00 to 22:00 hours. You can return the vehicle outside these hours at Palma de Mallorca Airport by paying a supplement of 25€ for returns between 22:00 and 0:30. Returns between 06:31 and 08:00 have a cost of 15€. Returns before the agreed time of return will have a cost of 30€.
All persons registered on the rental contract.
– The minimum age for rental is 19 years and 1 year of driving license, the maximum age is 84 years.
– Drivers between 19 and 23 years of age (young drivers) must pay a supplement of € 6.00 per day.
– Senior drivers, over 78 years of age, must pay a supplement of € 6.00 per day.
If you receive a fine during your rental and have Premium insurance, the fine handling will be carried out free of charge. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay the fine as soon as they receive it.
If you have Basic or Standard insurance, a fee of €30 will be applied for fine handling, in addition to the corresponding amount of the fine. This will be applied unless you have Extra insurance, which includes fine handling as part of its benefits.
We guarantee the reservation in the vehicle category you have requested or in a higher category. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of a specific vehicle model.
If you have a specific model request, we will do our best to provide the desired vehicle if it is available. However, we cannot confirm this possibility with certainty.
Our priority is to offer you a satisfactory and reliable rental experience, and we continually work toward this goal.
We deliver the vehicle with a specific level of fuel, and it is the responsibility of the lessee to return it in the same condition. The amount will be indicated in the rental contract.
In the event that it is not returned with the same level, a charge will be applied according to the established rate.
In addition, an additional charge of €20.00 will be applied for refueling service.
If you have forgotten an item in the vehicle after returning it, there are two options available for retrieving it:
- You can request a trusted person to collect the item at Palma Airport or the Cala Figuera office. Before sending someone to retrieve the item, it is important to notify us in advance of the date and time of collection to ensure that the item is available at the chosen location.
- You can also choose to hire the services of a courier company to pick up the item from the Cala Figuera office and have it delivered to your home or another address of your choice.
Please note that Vima Rent a Car does not offer item shipping services through courier companies.
