Here, logistics are straightforward: vehicle access all the way to the top is usually closed on performance days to protect the forest surrounding the castle. It is not worth driving around trying to go up. The most practical approach is to leave your car down below, in the El Terreno neighborhood or in the Paseo Marítimo car parks, and take the ten to fifteen-minute walk up through the pine trees as part of the experience.
