Pick-up place was relatively easy to find in the airport. The car was new, clean and drove perfectly. No issues with paperwork during pickup/dropoff. The only company that allows renting without a credit card or deposit at a very reasonable cost.

Great experience! Good price, purchased full coverage and collecting car was easy. Friendly staff and answered my questions about checking what was covered in the full policy cover. They took credit card details but this was just as a guarantee. Easy process collecting and just have to pay for the parking to get out so make sure you get out quick if the car has been there less than an hour and you’ll only have to pay around €2 instead of €12 if the car has been there over an hour. Easy return process. Great all round.

CAUTION - Terms & Conditions designed to catch customers out.
I had an agreed rental return time of 08:00 and we entered the return car park at 07:38, emptied the car and handed the keys back to their staff at 08:00, which is when they open in the morning.
The next day I received an email stating that I had returned the car before the agreed time without prior agreement and they would be charging me 80 euros. VIMA are using the timestamp on the car park ticket (which is operated by AENA, not VIMA) as the return time of the vehicle, not the time at which you hand over the keys.
On close inspection, the T&Cs state that you cannot drive the car into the parking facility outside of authorised hours, even though this is a car park that anyone can drive into and is operated by a third party.
Using the car park ticket to override the physical key handover is solely designed to catch the customer out and in my view is an abusive practice.
I will leave it up to you to decide if this is a company you want to do business with, and I would also encourage you to dig deeper into the negative reviews.
If you do decide to book with VIMA, ensure you read their pages of T&C’s first. We thought we had done everything by the book.

VIMA how can I return a car at 08:00 if I am not allowed to enter the car park before 08:00?
if you think entering a public car park 22 minutes before the car is due to be returned and handing the keys over at exactly the specified time is worthy of an 80 euro charge, go ahead and rent with them.
This is not an isolated incident. If you look into the different review platforms, it’s a deliberate practice buried in the T&Cs designed to catch their customers off guard and extract additional money.
We acted in good faith and handed the keys to the car at exactly the right time. Driving into an open car park has nothing to do with the return time. It’s a short-sighted practice, Vima would be better building a relationship with their customers not destroying them. I don’t usually complain but believe this was more than worthy of my time and effort.

Thank you, Vima team, for great rental experience. You made our holiday better with easy and worry free process of getting a rental car to explore Mallorca. Booking was simple online, all infos clear, easy to understand, all prices clear. With premium pack - all inclusive insurance, no deposit issues, no hassle with getting or leaving the car. Price was good for the category and what we wanted for a car. We got all the info how to get the car as we arrived late in the night and was easy enough to collect the car. Car was perfectly clean, almost brand new (6k km), latest model, perfect condition, with all what you need (functional infotainment, Android auto, etc...), more than half of gas tank full, ready to go wherever we wanted. All the papers inside. Returning the car the same - clear simple instructions, seamless communication through email and WhatsApp, timely reminders on everything we needed to know or do. We will book again with VIMA when we return to Mallorca.
